2) Speedscript, stenography and the ten-finger system

A comparison of a wide range of different text entry methods shows that writing with SpeedScript can be as quick as with a QWERTY (standard typewriter) keyboard, the most common method:

*Unofficial figures: The test person practiced a sample text until they could write it by heart completely fluently using both methods. The object of this experiment was to make a physical comparison (distance moved and time) of writing efficiency.
